The role of a Programme Commercial Manager in our Cork, IE office requires extensive commercial management expertise. You will work alongside innovative and dedicated teammates to play a pivotal role in the management of a large project.

Your key responsibilities include maintaining a high standard in accordance with Alstom Policies and Procedures. This involves NEC forms of contract management, including contract communications, change control, variation/compensation event assessment, valuation/certification, contract remedies, and contract close out.

You will be responsible for achieving financial targets and managing budgets effectively. This includes influencing and challenging budget holders to ensure financial planning is supported.

In this role, you will also optimize margin on a project while protecting it from commercial risk. Additionally, you will foster support, relationships, and adherence to procedures.

You will be expected to train and develop staff to enhance team capabilities. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.

This position requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Experience of managing and leading a large infrastructure project is essential.
