Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing roadside retailer, operating across Ireland, with a strong presence in motorway service areas and forecourt stations. We are seeking a Trainee Buyer to join its Commercial Trading Department. The successful candidate will be a confident people person who can adopt a hands-on approach. Citywest based.

Responsibilities of this Trainee Buyer:
1. Create and drive efficient processes
2. Co-ordinate the buying cycle working closely with the buying team and other departments across the business
3. Reporting as guided by the Head of Trading
4. General support and other administration duties for the Trading team
Experience required for this Trainee Buyer:
1. Minimum 1 year administrative experience
2. Experience in a Trading / Buying team is preferable but not a requirement
3. High proficiency in all Microsoft Office software also essential (Excel, PPT)
4. Experience within a convenient FMCG retail environment is also advantageous
5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
6. Takes new challenges and works to own initiative
