Part Qualified Accountant
About the Role:
We are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the general ledgers monthly, posting journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions, and producing monthly finance reports to management.
The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, minimum 2 years' experience working in a finance function, and advanced IT skills with a working knowledge of MS Office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and reconcile the general ledgers monthly.
* Post journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions, including income, accruals, and prepayments.
* Responsibility for accounting and reporting the organisation's income.
* Produce monthly finance reports to management.
* Produce departmental income and expense analysis reports.
* Report weekly KPIs to management.
* Assist with supporting and coordinating internal and external audits, including production of year-end financial statements.
* Assist with budgeting, cash flow, forecasting, and scenarios planning processes.
* Ensure full compliance with all finance and organisational policies and procedures, including suggesting amendments and/or additions where required.
