AsasuccessfulDatacentreTechnician,yourday-to-dayworkwillinclude: Supportingdeploymentofon-sitedatacentrephysicalinfrastructure Installing,replacingandtroubleshootingCablesandHardware Handlingdatabearingdevices(ex.Harddrives,solidstatedrives, etc.) Workingwithinaticket-basedenvironment Movementofequipment usingpallet jacksorotherassisted liftingequipment. As required,assistingtheDatacentreInventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) withshipping/receivingandinventorymanagementtoaddress highworkvolumes. Qualifications HighSchoolDiploma orequivalent Basicknowledgeofcomputerhardwareandcomponents Experiencehandling/maintaininganytechnicalequipmentormachinery. Whilenotrequired,wealsolook forthefollowingPreferredQualifications: ExperiencesupportingIT equipmentorrelatedtechnology. Applicablecertifications:CompTIA(A+,Server+,Network+),BasicStructureCabling(BSC). Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or withoutequipmentassistance. Abletocommunicateeffectively. ProficientinwrittenandoralEnglishcommunicationtosupportregionalandglobal teams. Desiretolearn,grow, anddevelopnew technicalskills.
