We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Financial Accountant to provide support to the finance and management teams, reporting directly to the Ritter Courivaud Financial Controller.
Location: Ballymun Office, Dublin
The role will be responsible for the following:
General Balance Sheet and P&L accounting, working with other finance members and other departments across the business.Preparation of GL reconciliations.Management of the Fixed Asset Register.Work with AR and AP, as central point of contact, to resolve any issues.Preparation of cash flow forecast – including liaising with AR/AP to estimate cash flows and communications with wider business.Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with a heavy focus on period end accounting including management accounts preparation.Assisting with the preparation and submission of HMRC required documents and returns.Supporting the External Audit process, fulfilling auditor queries.Understanding and influencing areas of margin reporting for improvement.Identify and deliver control and compliance improvements.Create and maintain procedure documentation in conjunction with finance and the wider business.Provide accurate, timely and relevant information to support business information needs as required.Working with other finance members and wider business teams to support the business in the completion of the Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Plans.Working closely with a wider team to finalize the implementation and embedding of a new ERP system (Business Central).The ideal candidate will have/be: Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years PQE.Experience of working in a large-scale fast-paced organisation, ideally as part of a controls focused finance team with a track-record of delivering high quality results.Stakeholder management skills with ability to build relationships, internally and externally.A self-motivated approach to work - can do attitude, well organised to effectively prioritise and deliver high quality results.Ability to work independently, take initiative, learn quickly and proactively anticipate the needs of the finance and management team.Excellent analytical skills and excel skills.Excellent attention to detail.Knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance requirements a plus.Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
