Job Summary
TCP Homecare is a leading provider of home care nursing services on a national scale, delivering high-quality patient care and services across various specialty areas within the home and community setting.
Job Scope:
The Van Driver's primary role is to transport and deliver medical products directly to customers and pharmacies, adhering to procedures that ensure effective customer service level agreements. This position requires a Monday to Friday working pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
* Securely store product for each delivery in the vehicle.
* Control and cross-check stock for each dispatch.
* Report and monitor any vehicle temperature deviations.
* Educate and train customers on cold chain maintenance, waste management, and other relevant services provided.
* Develop and maintain a good rapport with customers and key contacts.
* Feedback any issues concerning the company's ability to operate.
* Drive safely, following all road rules.
* Maintain good vehicle and fridge hygiene, cleaning the vehicle at least once a week.
* Notify Customer Service and Transport Supervisor for vehicle servicing.
* Administer daily/weekly/monthly documentation for departmental reviews.
* Report all adverse events and product complaints promptly, in line with Pharmacovigilance procedures and current legislation.
* Maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
* Assist in ensuring continuing quality systems are implemented and maintained within TCP Homecare.
* Ensure all GDP tasks are completed timely for month-end and quarterly closures.
* Participate in all company training programs, uploading records and actioning SOPs in TCP Academy within the allocated timeframe.
* Represent oneself professionally and ethically at all times, complying with all applicable company policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications & Competencies:
* Driver's license and Hazchem certification.
* Proven track record in driving/distribution practice.
* Good communication skills (written and verbal).
* Possess a personable attitude with good customer relations skills.
* Display a high degree of self-motivation.
* Able to work as part of a team.
* Show high-level flexibility in daily tasks.
* Understanding of pharmaceuticals and/or refrigeration (ideal).
