Role/Department
The Professional Practices Group (PPG) within Audit Services is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing audit methodology practices and driving the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP), including the audit training program, within the global Audit Services Department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver high-quality technical training in audit, soft skills, and other related topics to global audiences of differing levels of experience.
2. Assist with updating, delivering, managing, and post-course reviewing technical training courses.
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of training through quality assurance reviews or other mechanisms and assist in building the training program.
4. Liaise with corporate training teams to ensure alignment with corporate training strategies.
5. Manage and update the Audit Services Learning and Development Centre.
6. Deliver and enhance the Audit Services New Joiners Training program.
7. Support the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and risk-focused assurance work through execution of quality assurance (QA) reviews in line with IIA Standards.
Requirements
* Confident and capable presenter who can react positively to challenges but also deliver consistent content that addresses the firm's requirements.
* Passion for delivering training topics on audit and soft skills, as well as a desire for continual learning and development.
* Qualified ACA or CPA, CIA, with an interest in technical and training matters, is desirable.
* Previous experience in designing, delivering, and facilitating training sessions is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.
* High attention to detail, positive attitude, ability to learn quickly.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team and use own initiative.
