Overview of DepartmentPurpose of RoleReporting directly to the BGE COO, the Distribution and Registrations Analyst will provide support for the delivery of BGE's operational and distribution plans together with assisting with the UCITS registration process.
ResponsibilitiesA dynamic role the analyst provides effective support for a broad range of delegated and non-delegated functions, working closely with functional teams in Edinburgh
The core responsibilities include:
Assisting the Distribution Manager (appointed PCF 39E) who is responsible for oversight of the Distribution of Irish UCITS (European / international), including ongoing due diligence and reporting / Management Information.
Assisting with the UCITS Fund Registrations process, liaising with external counsel Dechert and ensuring that country specific requirements are adhered to.
Provide support in the production of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc management information packs and Board reports.
Collating information packs for anti-financial crime (AFC) checks.
Contributing to continuous improvement of the quality and efficiency of the distribution and registration processes.
Supporting the COO in delivering the firm's operational and distribution plans.
Assisting the Dublin Management Team and wider BGE team in ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are in place across all European locations.
Data analysis together with other projects and ad hoc tasks as required.
Your Knowledge and ExperiencePrior industry experience in the asset management or funds industry.
Knowledge of Distribution and Registrations (preferable).Excellent Microsoft (Outlook, Excel) skills and a confidence in working with new technologies.
QualificationsDegree qualification required.
