Overview
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Funds Business group as a Fund Accountant Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the fund accounting and administration of PIMCO's European public funds. You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure the smooth operation of our funds and provide exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
Respond to internal and external fund accounting queries
Coordinate and review fund dividends
Manage third-party vendors related to the funds
Develop reports for European Funds Management, Boards & Management on European Funds
Support Account Management and business development activities
Support fund events such as launches and liquidations
Manage various projects related to process improvements, procedure and systems development
Requirements
A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance – preferred
Proven experience in Fund Accounting within the investment industry
Mutual fund operations experience a benefit
Proficiency in designing and executing database queries
A high degree of expertise with Microsoft Excel
Microsoft VBA experience an advantage
Strong time management and prioritizing skills
Ability to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines
Attention to detail and constant focus on quality and client service
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
Adaptable, flexible, and ability to work effectively within a team
