Line of Service: Assurance

Specialism: Assurance
Management Level: Senior Associate
Job Description & Summary:
You'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
- There are many reasons why organizations focus on building trust and transparency including:
• Service providers: They will need to be able to demonstrate to customers that certain standards are being met when supplying their service. Without a formal report to demonstrate this, the service provider's ability to maintain and grow their customer base is impacted. Examples of where this is relevant include service providers within the asset management industry and software providers.
• Regulatory compliance: A company may need to be able to demonstrate compliance with specific regulations in order to maintain their license.
• Stakeholder/strategic initiative: Certain information is being demanded by stakeholders, especially in the area of sustainability. In some cases, disclosing the information is also a key strategic priority for the organisation. The quality of this information is a key concern for those who use it to estimate a company's current and future valuation. Being able to provide independent formal assurance (akin to a financial statement audit opinion) over this non-financial reporting information is the preferred method to provide this trust and transparency.
Through a range of assurance reporting services—including SOC 1, ISAE 3402, SOC 2 and Agreed-Upon Procedures—the Trust and Transparency team can help clients report on their control environment and/or specific data points (e.g., carbon) objectively and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identifying areas of growth related to T & T client offerings and completing business development.
• Developing and maintaining personal networks within the organization and in the marketplace.
• Managing a portfolio of T & T audits.
• Delivering within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Essential Skills and Experience:
The successful candidates will be qualified (or equivalent), demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and oral), the ability to deal with people across all levels of an organisation, a genuine interest in providing high quality service to clients, be commercially aware, and show initiative. Senior Associate requires 3 to 5 years relevant experience (can be a combination of audit and industry experience). Financial Services experience (especially AWM) or technology or sustainability an advantage, but not a requirement.
