Post Title: Facilities Operations Manager
Dexcom Stadium, the Home of Connacht Rugby, is inviting applications for the role of Facilities Operations Manager.
Role and Purpose of Position:
The Facilities Operations Manager will report to Dexcom Stadium General Manager, who will oversee the Operations Department. The Facilities Operations Manager shall be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of operational and logistical responsibilities to deliver the highest quality services and facilities for Dexcom Stadium, the Home of Connacht Rugby.

Operational & Functional: Dexcom Stadium General Manager
Other key relationships:
* Chief Executive
* Director of Development
* Heads of Departments
* Operations Committee
Key Responsibilities:
The Facilities Operations Manager shall be the Line Manager of and delegate appropriate responsibilities to the:
* Operations Team
* Facilities Team
The Facilities Operations Manager shall be responsible for:
* All Connacht Rugby's facilities, pitches and their maintenance.
* Event management in line with Connacht Rugby's Event Management Plan, the planning for and management of all events.
* Connacht Rugby’s Health & Safety statement, policies and practices; operational risk register; and organisational insurance policies and procedures.
* Developing and supporting sustainability policies across all of Connacht Rugby's facilities.
* All IT systems and security.
* The management of all operational budgets and ensuring strict compliance with Connacht Rugby’s financial policies and procedures.
* Managing facility operational relationships including URC & EPCR Staff; Partners & Suppliers; Greyhound Racing Ireland (Galway Staff); Residents Associations; etc.
* Other tasks which may be required and designated by General Manager from time to time.

Working Pattern:
The successful candidate will be expected to work appropriate hours to fully carry out their responsibilities. The nature of the work is such that these hours may be irregular or outside the norm i.e., during evenings and at weekends (including Sundays).

* Management of Connacht Rugby’s facilities and services.
* Establish efficient work practices.
* Maintain effective relationships with staff, volunteers and service providers.
* Effective delivery of events.
* Effective quality control of our Health & Safety and IT systems.
* Portray a competent and professional image on behalf of Connacht Rugby.
Skills & Abilities:
* Previous experience in an Operations Role
* Campus or Stadium Operations experience (although stadium experience not essential)
* Event management planning, coordination and execution.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
* Sound understanding of key responsibilities related to regulations / government guidelines.
