**Job Title:** Financial Analyst (Grade VII)
Contract Duration: 1 Year, Immediate Start
We are partnering with HSE Dublin and South East region to provide financial analysis support in a non-acute hospital setting.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide expert financial analysis and reporting to the Regional Director of Finance.
* Consolidate monthly management accounts for senior management reporting
* Liaise with national and regional finance colleagues on remapping corporate staffing, budgets, and costs across various financial and HR systems
* Ensure accurate payroll and agency staff controls are in place
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Managing the regional corporate cost centre, including accruals posting
* Supporting the assessment and improvement of internal controls
* Collaborating with finance personnel on internal and external audit liaison and implementing recommendations
* Maintaining compliance with legislative and revenue requirements
* Utilizing technology to automate existing processes and enhance efficiency
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Membership or progression towards membership of a recognized accountancy body (ACCA, CPA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
* Experience working in a busy finance department
* An ability to embrace change and improve efficiencies
* Proficiency in using IT systems and producing management information
