Join our People Analytics team as a Lead Data Analyst, where your products will empower leaders and support People programs and organisational strategies. Through optimising our data warehouse, creating impactful dashboards, and transforming insights into action, your expertise will influence our global growth and operational excellence.
You will combine the technical aspects of a data engineer, the high-level analytical skills of an analyst, and the business acumen of a consultant. As the Lead Analyst on the team, you’ll serve as a full-stack data advisor to the function and the Looker expert within the team.
You will be hybrid in our Dublin office twice a week and you will report into the Manager of People Analytics.
You’ll Get To…
* Design and develop and maintain our HR data warehouse on GCP and BigQuery, ensuring robust, scalable systems and high efficiency, high performance builds.
* Lead the ETL processes, including extraction and transformation of data from systems like Workday and Greenhouse, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
* Develop and manage impactful dashboards using Looker, providing our executive leadership team with real-time visibility into HR metrics.
* Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends and patterns, translating these insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards. Provide training and support to team members on data tools and best practices.
* Collaborate with Human Resources, Information Technology, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, program manage dashboard trainings and releases, and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
* Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and alignment.
* Work with existing team members and provide subject matter expertise on technical concepts.
Who We're Looking For
* 8+ years experience in data analysis and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* Proven experience in data engineering, GCP, BigQuery, and SQL.
* Extensive experience with Looker or similar BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Strong experience with ETL tools and automation through Python or R.
* Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with executive stakeholders, including the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
* Experience in HR analytics or working with people data is desirable.
