Currently, we are looking for like-minded professionals to join our team and are hiring a Mechanical Commissioning Technician to support a large-scale project with a very high-profile client in Co. Kildare.
Duties And Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical commissioning activity on our client’s site.
2. Commission mechanical equipment in a semi-conductor start-up.
3. Professional customer engagement.
4. Interact and respond to project leads directions.
5. Prepare Mechanical Operational test documents for start process.
6. Carry out site walks and create snag lists as the project.
7. Ability to work to tight timelines and schedules.
8. Pro-active attitude generates ideas and inputs to deliverables to support the effectiveness and efficiency of the project.
9. Delivers on time.
10. Monitoring of contractor installation workmanship.
11. Tracking of the Mechanical start up activities projects.
12. Start up of systems such as HVAC, Pumping systems, process delivery systems, chillers, boilers, etc.
13. Experience in maintenance and or start-up of mechanical process equipment.
14. Management and documentation of project.
15. Accept equipment on behalf of the client from the main contractor.
16. Be part of a team where you are the Mechanical lead for the systems’ acceptance, operational and functional testing/qualification in order to make systems ready and qualified for handover to sustaining.
17. Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
18. Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformance reports.
19. Updates as built drawings through documentation process.
20. Performs punch-listing operations.
21. Oversees visual inspections, checks rating and material for connection.
22. Oversees tests pressure and verification tests prior to handover.
23. Witness the tests and inspections carried out.
24. Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
25. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.

Requirements:
1. Apprenticeship Qualified Mechanical or mechanical engineering degree.
2. Experience in start-up and pre-testing of Mechanical systems such as HVAC, Pumping systems, process delivery systems, chillers, boilers, etc.
3. Strong PC skills, particularly MS office suite (Specifically Excel and Word).
4. Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
5. Strong team working ethos.
6. Strong team player.
7. Problem Solver.
