Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Clerical Officer - Data Support.
The duration of this post is 4 months to cover annual leave during the summer period.
Working 35 hours per week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an annualised salary of €30,810.
You will accrue 26 days' annual leave per annum pro-rata (paid Public Holidays).
The role is based in Drogheda, Co Louth with a blended working model in place.
A minimum of 2 days a week in Drogheda (Thursday and one other day).
The role requires an individual with an interest in data management and may suit a business or finance student or someone working in a similar environment.
The role involves managing and analysing datasets and sources to support decision-making, which requires a solid understanding of business principles and a meticulous approach to data accuracy and integrity.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: The role has administrative and data analysis responsibilities, which include the following: Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of area of responsibility.
This will include the management of service mailboxes on an ongoing basis.
Provide support to the Data Quality Administrators/Leads through comprehensive analysis of data sets and sources.
Provide support to the Team Manager/Leads with data and statistical analysis and reporting tools contributing to assist with regular reporting to Senior Management.
Key competencies Problem solver and decision maker Numeracy skills IT and Excel skills Risk management understanding Attention to detail Adaptability and resilience Team Working and Communication Skills Qualifications and Experience The minimum qualification is: Have obtained a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish.
Candidates should have obtained at least Grade C on higher level papers in three subjects in that examination.
Or Have completed a relevant examination at a comparable standard in any equivalent examination in another jurisdiction.
And Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.
