Job Description
As an Instrument Maintenance Technician, you would play a key role in the execution of our portfolio of instrumentation service and maintenance contracts for a variety of customers, ensuring the reliable operation of process plants and instrumentation systems within our customers’ facilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled onsite instrument calibrations.
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks on instrumentation, gas analytical systems and control systems.
* Maintain instrumentation, analytical and control equipment.
* Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, analytical systems and control systems.
* Troubleshoot process control and measurement issues.
* Participate in the company-wide on-call rota.
Competencies and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in instrument calibrations and maintenance in a process environment.
* Strong understanding of process measurements, control and automation.
* Electrical systems experience.
* PLC, SCADA, computer experience an advantage.
* Gas Analysis systems experience an advantage.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong attention to detail, methodical, and committed to maintaining accurate documentation.
* Good mechanical aptitude.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer Literacy.
* Full clean driving licence.
Other Info:
* This role is predominantly on customer sites and from home. Attendance at or work from an office or workshop is not required, so it requires a self-starter.
* Countrywide travel can be involved but based mainly in the Leinster area.
