Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant F&B Manager to support the management of our restaurant & banqueting operations. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure exceptional guest service, maintain high operational standards, and inspire a team to exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
* Support the F&B Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and exceptional service.
* Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer experience.
* Assist in staff scheduling, stock control, and inventory management to optimise efficiency.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
* Lead by example to deliver a warm and professional dining experience for all guests.
* Handle guest feedback and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
* Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service coordination.
Team Leadership & Development:
* Assist in the training and development of the restaurant team, ensuring staff are knowledgeable, motivated, and engaged.
* Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and high morale.
* Support performance management and ensure staff uphold the restaurant's standards of service and professionalism.
Financial & Compliance Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing the restaurant's budget, cost control, and revenue targets to maximize profitability.
* Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
* Monitor compliance with company policies, licensing laws, and brand standards.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within an Irish hospitality setting.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* A genuine passion for hospitality, guest service, and high-end dining experiences.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food and beverage trends, cost control, and restaurant operations.
* Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
