Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Social Care Worker to join our team in residential care settings for young people aged 12-17.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of assessment and behaviour management plans, provide support and guidance to help children navigate their journey to independence and adulthood.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized plans for children and young people, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
* Provide education and life skills training outside of school, both one-on-one and in group settings.
* Support young people with homework completion and academic success.
* Participate in residential care planning and delivery, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Care (Level 7 or 8) or equivalent qualification.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Knowledge of effective team working principles.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including 15 and 24-hour rotations.
