About the Role
As the Business Development Executive, you will:
* Manage Key Accounts: Develop and oversee relationships with major national clients, such as Musgrave and Mc Cabes Pharmacy, as well as independent gift packaging customers.
* Drive Sales & Growth: Proactively identify new business opportunities, secure new accounts, and expand existing accounts through strategic upselling and cross-selling.
* Engage Senior Decision-Makers: Present tailored proposals and product solutions to senior buyers and procurement teams at client headquarters.
* Field-Based Sales: Regularly travel across Ireland to meet clients, build relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Market & Product Development: Collaborate with internal teams to introduce new product innovations that meet customer needs and market trends.
* Represent the Brand: Attend trade shows and industry events to showcase offerings and build brand awareness.
Requirements
* 2+ years of sales experience
* Proven track record in a B2B sales environment, from prospecting to closing deals.
* New business development expertise
* Strong relationship management skills
* Packaging industry experience (preferred)
* CRM & sales forecasting proficiency
