About the Role
This permanent, full-time position involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure as part of Fexco Drive's technology division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Architecture Design
o Refine and execute the Fexco cloud strategy, including migration plans.
o Develop and implement cloud-based solutions to meet the company's needs.
o Design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures.
o Ensure cloud solutions are aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
* Cloud Migrations
o Coordinate the migration of existing applications from on-premises to cloud environments.
o Evaluate and select appropriate partners, cloud services, and tools.
* Infrastructure Management & Security
o Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
o Implement best practices for cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery.
o Optimize cloud resources and manage cloud costs efficiently.
o Design and implement robust security measures to protect cloud environments from threats.
* DevOps
o Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions.
o Provide technical guidance, architectural standards, and support to internal engineering teams and stakeholders.
* IT Governance and Compliance
o Develop and maintain cloud governance policies.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive management, IT leadership, and development teams.
o Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and related IT security standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* At least 4 years hands-on engineering experience in a public cloud environment.
* Extensive expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Cloud technology certifications are advantageous.
* Hands-on experience and knowledge of containerization, orchestration, serverless computing, cloud virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
* Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
* Experience with migration strategies, common mistakes, and best practices.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
