A new opportunity for a Systems Engineer has arisen within the Engineering team at Curtiss-Wright.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with an ability to work independently across a wide range of tasks and an aptitude to self-manage assigned projects.
The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary Engineering team that designs a complete and complex framework, system or product.
Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses.
Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems.
Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
Location:
Dublin, Ireland
To provide system architecture definition based on required functionality.
Develop and maintain system requirement specifications and system interface design documents, i.e., ICDs, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports and support the development of SRS and HRS documents.
Participate in all system and subsystem hardware and hardware/software integration and acceptance testing.
Support development for system, hardware and software requirements and design to assure system requirements are met.
Perform/coordinate various analyses in support of detailed design of components, major assemblies, software and systems.
Your Expertise:
University degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
A good aptitude for mechanical reasoning.
A proven ability to balance various tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent learning and communications skills.
High level of attention to details.
Willingness to work on documentation for prolonged periods.
Previous experience working within an Engineering team is a plus.
Knowledge and practical experience with Python programming language is considered an asset.
