Jobs & Responsibilities
* Carry out medical device product testing as per product test request including: R&D/NPI testing to support development of new products, Design Verification testing, Process Validation testing, and Testing to support production queries & Investigations.
* Participate in the set up and maintenance of test method equipment including: tensile testers, measurement equipment, anatomical models, and others.
* Filing and tracking of test results.
* Assist in test method development & validation including Gage R&R.
* Assist in writing new test method procedures.
* Update existing test method procedures when required as per the Engineering Change order process (CR’s).
* Sourcing and Ordering of lab supplies as needed.
* Investigation of Field Complaints.
Skills & Knowledge
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures impeccably.
* Report and technical writing skills essential.
* Good technical aptitude and ability for hands-on work.
* Competent in the use of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Knowledge of statistical techniques such as Gage R&R, equivalency testing, etc., including use of Minitab an advantage.
* Knowledge of Physiology & the anatomy an advantage.
* Good communication skills necessary.
Education
* Engineering/Science qualification or sufficient experience in a similar medical devices role.
