Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Kiltipper Woods Care Centre, a purpose-built care facility established in 2004, is expanding its team and seeking full-time and part-time Healthcare Assistants.
About Us
We provide specialist care services for various needs, including older persons, younger persons with disabilities, dementia/Alzheimer's patients, and those requiring step-down care, convalescence, or rehabilitation. Our centre offers outpatient rehabilitation and wellness therapies through our physiotherapy and hydrotherapy clinic.
Role of the Healthcare Assistant
The successful candidate will assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Staff Nurses.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure consistent delivery of high-standard care to patients and families, aligning with Kiltipper Woods Care Centre's mission, vision, and values.
* Take responsibility and be accountable for all patients, residents, and staff.
* Support the Clinical Nurse Manager in implementing policies and guidelines.
* Demonstrate behaviour consistent with our centre's values and promote health education.
* Maintain awareness of patient confidentiality and act in the best interest of residents/patients.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
* QQI Level 5 in healthcare support - major award.
* Experience in caring for older persons.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Caring nature.
