Job Overview
As a Junior Financial Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team based in County Kildare, Ireland. This role is designed for a recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting who is eager to start their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will assist in managing the company's financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while also supporting senior accountants in delivering timely reports and analyses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
2. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
3. Support monthly closing procedures by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling and analysing financial data.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
6. Participate in audits and financial reviews, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
7. Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial processes and enhance efficiency.
8. Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices through continuous learning and development.

Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

5. Ability to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
