Summary of the role:
The Associate – Enterprise Risk Management (the “Associate ERM”) is responsible with assisting the Director ERM Strategy with the implementation and execution of the Group Enterprise Risk Management Framework (“ERMF”) and key strategic projects to safeguard the organization while supporting it’s continued growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Risk Culture by assisting the Director ERM Strategy with the dissemination and communication of the ERMF into BUs, centralized services and across all levels of the Group.
Support the ERM team in the ongoing review, monitoring and enhancement of the Waystone ERMF by assisting with:
Continuous improvement and evolvement of relevant frameworks as appropriate for 2LOD.
Interrogation and challenge of risk information including dissemination to relevant BU’s through the organization.
Support as required strategic initiatives within the ERM team or wider organization including but not limited to:
Ongoing development of the Enterprise Risk Management Application (ERMA) to ensure a robust risk management process is in place
Automation and digitization of data and information to enhance processes and decision making
Supporting ad hoc initiatives arising from evolving risk landscapes or regulatory requirements such as the implementation of new legislation impacting ERM.

Suggested Skills/Experience
An internationally recognised professional qualification or bachelor’s degree or significant experience in risk, compliance or operations-based control function
Ideally but not essential, 1 years’ relevant experience in the financial sector
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written, verbal and visual
Advanced analytical skills, with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately
Interest/education in ICT and/or AI
