Description
Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Rotational
Permanent/Temporary/Panel
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Occupational Therapist with an interest in rehabilitation to work with our team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH).
At the NRH, we are committed to interdisciplinary working, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with other professional colleagues providing a full range of rehabilitation services to patients. There is also an active staff education programme and supervision structure within the department, designed to support staff development.
The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy. If this qualification was gained outside the Republic of Ireland, it must have been validated by the Department of Health. She/he must be eligible for membership of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland.
It is essential that candidates have a comprehensive understanding and evidence of:
* Application of the Occupational Therapy process
* Use of functional assessment and activity analysis
* Experience of the Irish Health Service or equivalent
* Must be registered by CORU or pending CORU registration
It is advantageous that the candidate has:
* Post qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist
* Experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
* Experience working with individuals who have a range of neurological conditions.
* Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Membership of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland
* Full Irish Driving Licence
