We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented L1 helpdesk Engineer to join our IT Operations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our Windows-based systems users.

Key Responsibilities: End user support across a wide range of Microsoft tools and applications to resolve hardware and software issues Install, configure, maintain and deploy Windows workstations and Laptops Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect systems and data Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute projects Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability Work with the regional teams to provide a 24*5 follow the sun support model Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent practical experience 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Windows environment Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Servers) Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and practical networking Experience with Azure Active Director, Virtual desktops and infrastructure / cloud computing Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience: Degree or equivalent experience Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions Familiarity with ITIL practices and methodologies
