Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our upcoming project in Limerick. Key Responsibilities:
* Drive a culture of Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) excellence.
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce.
* Support all aspects of Project Team functions, including Risk & Commercial Success, Financials, Processes, HSEQS, Stakeholder Management and Project Administration.
* Prepare contract reports and provide updates on monthly cost meetings.
* Plan, organize and direct activities concerned with construction, facilities and systems.
* Develop project plans and schedules to achieve agreed outcomes.
* Coordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications.
* Achieve objectives in timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
* Adhere to a 'right first time' philosophy throughout the project life cycle.
* Attend regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keep them informed of progress.
* Ensure quality management and BCAR coordination, overseeing quality control and safety matters on site.
* Handle technical queries and interface with clients, consultants and architects regarding RFI's.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Degree in Engineering discipline, Civil, Structural or Construction Management.
* Experience in a main/specialist contractor, ideally.
* Excellent communication skills.
* In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
* Computer literate and familiar with MS office and project scheduling packages.
* Good knowledge of safety management and quality management.
* Ability to lead, mentor and motivate staff.
