Receptionist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our Front Desk team at the Moxy Hotel, part of the MHL Hotel Collection & Marriott.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and want to grow in their career. Key responsibilities include:
* Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing/activating room keys.
* Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, debit, or credit cards.
* Process check-outs, resolve late and disputed charges, and answer guest calls/messages.
* Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
* Communicate parking procedures, supply directions and information about the property and local areas of interest.
The successful candidate will have:
* 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar position.
* Very strong communication skills, fluency in English is required.
* Knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* A professional demeanor and telephone manner.
* Ability to work in a busy environment.
* Fluent level of written and spoken English.
