We are seeking a business driven and self-motivated Risk & Regulatory Senior Consultant, ideally with a professional services background. The candidate should be comfortable in delivering across industry client sectors and product lines, specifically Governance, Risk and Compliance which includes Risk & Regulatory.
What you will be doing:
1. As part of the Risk and Regulatory team, support the successful delivery of a wide variety of engagements, including the development of client relationships in order to enhance our reputation and brand.
2. Providing support on compliance, risk consulting advice to clients.
3. Support the preparation of reports outlining risk and compliance findings and recommendations benchmarked to regulatory requirements.
4. Working on client site / remotely as part of client project teams.
5. Reporting to on-site and off-site EAI Management.
6. Support the development of a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives and use this knowledge on assignments.
7. Support the development of comprehensive regulatory compliance and risk frameworks in line with requirements and guidance across industry sectors.
8. Help clients navigate regulatory changes and implement required modifications to policies, processes, and systems.
9. Supporting technical regulatory queries.
10. Stay abreast of financial regulations and compliance requirements set by regulatory bodies such as the Central Bank of Ireland and other European regulatory authorities.
11. Support consulting projects, ensuring that deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
12. Ensuring quality and timely service is delivered to clients.
Required Experience:
1. Diploma in Compliance with the Compliance Institute (LCI).
2. 3-5+ years’ experience in a Risk & Regulatory / Professional Services role.
3. Knowledge of Irish regulatory landscape i.e. MiFID / Credit Union Regulations / Insurance / Funds / Etc..
4. Understanding of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
5. Familiarity with various types of risks in the financial industry, such as credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and regulatory risk.
6. Experience in project management.
7. Experience in creating / updating compliance policies and frameworks.
8. Awareness of current topics in regulated financial services sector.
9. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
10. Strong report writing skill.
11. Ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
12. Excellent organisational, verbal communication and time management skills.
13. High ethical standards.

The Role:
We are looking for candidates who are fully qualified Compliance Professionals (or may have a background in Risk and Compliance or Internal Audit) with distinct and relevant experience of the best practice methodologies and standards underpinning Compliance and Risk Frameworks and consultancy delivery.
