Job Description
The purpose of this job is to serve as a member of the ELL group within the client environment to support their Sample Management tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
* Responsibility to ensure that all expected samples have been taken and reach their correct destination with 100% accuracy and completeness.
* Responsible for attending planning meetings with operations as required
* Responsibility for sorting samples in IE28 lab and deliver all relevant samples to their correct destination (fridge/freezer) with 100% accuracy
* Responsibility for split of bulk samples in the operating suites including preparation of BSC
* Responsibility for the management of retains sample process, including put-away, disposal, shipping and retrieval.
* Perform all tasks within the timelines outlined in the operating procedures while ensuring that there are no freezer excursions.
* Act as a key point of contact for all requests/queries relating to samples from both operations and the lab
* Responsibility for input into relevant operating procedures and training materials, documentation review (logbooks, tickets etc.)
* Responsible for providing general assistance to bioprocess sampling specialists as required.
* This person will ensure that all required documentation is completed on time, accurately and legibly.
* Responsible for adhering to all company standards in the areas of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies.
* As with all members of staff this person is responsible for ensuring that customers requirements are fully met and in so doing will be flexible to work in any area of the business as is required.
* Liaise with IE28 labs to ensure timing of samples on a daily basis is met.
* Dealing with customer queries and to contact designated personnel with any relevant information or issue relating to sample management or the service in general.
* Assisting in sample management investigations as appropriate.
* Ensuring that all decisions are handled with customer service in mind.
* Ensuring uniformity, reproducibility and reliability in all work practices.
* Identifying any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement.
* Participating in Team Meetings and giving updates to the rest of the tem as necessary.
Qualifications
* Certificate in Bioprocessing (or greater), or a third level qualification in a scientific/engineering discipline is required
* Relevant GMP experience within Sampling Operations.
* GMP experience is essential
* Accuracy, attention to detail
* Good organisation of time management and flexibility essential
* Good team player
* Good communication skills both internally and externally

*This is an opportunity to join Eurofins on a full time permanent basis, shift role. Shift is 05:30 - 17:30 working 4 days on then 4 days off.
