Director EPM/ Finance Transformation Practice - Consulting Firm
Join a top-tier advisory and consulting firm in Dublin as a Director, focusing on project delivery and operational activities for the EPM/Finance Transformation service line. This role also includes commercial responsibilities to grow the practice. You will be part of an established Finance Transformation practice, closely aligned with the Sustainability Technology and Transformation team. This is a great opportunity to work in the expanding Irish market for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), as the firm has won major transformation programmes with leading Irish and international companies.
What will I be doing?
* Project Delivery: Lead and manage major EPM/CPM programmes, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction.
* Operational Management: Oversee the operational activities of running the EPM/Finance Transformation service line.
* Commercial Growth: Drive commercial activities to grow the practice, including business development, client engagement, and marketing initiatives.
* Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on EPM solutions.
* Solution Design: Design and develop EPM solutions using tools like SAC, Tagetik, Oracle EPM, OneStream, Anaplan, and related technologies.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in EPM technologies and best practices.
What profile will I require?
* Education: University degree in finance, IT or related areas. Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified as well.
* EPM Experience: Strong track record of working with EPM/CPM programmes, with expertise in tools like SAC, Tagetik, Oracle EPM, OneStream, Anaplan, and related technologies.
* Project Management: Proven project management expertise, with the ability to lead complex transformation programmes. Project Management certifications are a major plus.
* Functional Knowledge: Strong functional finance knowledge around topics such as financial consolidation, FP&A, and controlling.
* Commercial expertise: Support the sales of the service line, manage relationships with alliance vendors, run events, respond to RFI and RFPs, network and bid for transformation work.
* Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring teams.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing client needs.
