CMM Programmer Duties:Programme and operate CMM machines to perform precise measurements of complex components, ensuring accuracy against engineering specifications.Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring full compliance with customer and regulatory standards.Create, modify, and maintain CMM programs based on technical drawings and inspection criteria.Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports and quality documentation to support traceability and audits.Investigate non-conformances by providing detailed inspection data and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions.Assist with calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment to ensure consistent performance.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to the implementation of best practices in quality inspection and measurement systems.Requirements:Proven experience as a CMM Programmer or Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device or aerospace sectors.Strong knowledge of CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS or similar software) and inspection processes.Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).High attention to detail with a strong commitment to product quality and continuous improvement.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
