Job Title: Medical Administrator
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrator to join our team in Cork city suburbs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our internal medical team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the internal medical team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Manage a high-volume email inbox, responding promptly and professionally to all queries.
* Upload documents to the database and update patient files in a timely and accurate manner.
* Schedule and manage appointments efficiently, ensuring minimal disruptions to our operations.
* Provide administrative support to the team, including tasks such as data entry and filing.
* Answer high-volume telephone calls and respond to all queries in a professional and empathetic manner.
* Process high volumes of application forms, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by following all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 months' experience in a hospital setting or GP practice is desirable.
* Strong typing skills are essential, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar IT software.
* Excellent verbal and written etiquette are required to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Previous experience with minute taking is highly desirable.
* An organized and detailed-oriented individual with excellent time management skills is essential for this role.
