Our client is an importer and distributor of FMCG brands across grocery, impulse and healthcare channels, representing a portfolio of well-known household brands. Reporting to the Head of Healthcare, this role is integral to the marketing function within the healthcare division of the company.
As the ‘go to’ marketing person in the healthcare division, the Healthcare BAM will have primary responsibility for brand activation across all touch points for a portfolio of brands, championing best in class development and execution of activation plans, ensuring alignment with annual brand and commercial objectives.
Working closely with the Head of Healthcare to shape brand activation plans, the BAM will work collaboratively across various functions to bring the brands to life, maximising presence and impact to deliver annual sales budgets.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate brand strategy into actionable activation plans
* Develop and coordinate yearly and rolling monthly marketing calendar with clear KPIs.
* Act as the brand guardian for the brands, ensuring consistency of look, feel, tone and messaging across all touch points in line with brand positioning and guidelines.
* Align closely with commercial team and Head of Healthcare to deliver plans for key retailer activations both in store and online, as applicable.
* Build strong working relationships with sales, customers and suppliers to maximise effectiveness of brand programming/activation.
* Work collaboratively with 3rd party print and experiential agencies to develop any associated marketing materials.
* Coordinate and mange trade/consumer events or sponsorships.
* Evaluate brand performance against agreed measures/goals, to track effectiveness and ROI of activations, to ensure continuous improvement in brand promotion and investment of budget.
* Create regular performance reviews for presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop all brand decks and toolkits, ensuring all brand information and insights are current, to support sales team in presenting to customers.
* Brief and support field sales team monthly on retailer programming and objectives of activations.
* Track competitor activity.
* Manage and track brand activation spend against budget.
Education
Degree level Business/Marketing related qualification
Skills and Competencies
* 3+ years’ experience in FMCG, ideally in the healthcare sector, with an understanding of Irish pharmacy/health-food retail landscape would be an advantage.
* Passionate about brand and brand building, enthusiastic to develop within the role.
* Results orientated with excellent attention to detail.
* Quick learner, proactive, used to working in fast paced environment.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Comfortable working across multiple brands.
* Creative, with ability to apply intelligent, commercial thinking to drive sales and brand awareness.
* Ability to build and leverage relationships with external partners and internal teams.
* Organised, with ability to manage time and priorities, and work off own initiative.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite, familiarity with SAP, Canva, Hootsuite & Power BI a plus.
