The Role
Park House is a Physical and Sensory Day Centre which provides a person-centred service to persons with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities.
Park House is situated on a beautifully maintained walled garden on a 9-acre site in the heart of Stillorgan.
The location is well served by public transport, and has on-site parking.
Park House Day Centre operates in accordance with the New Directions policy, ensuring that our service users enjoy a person-centred service with a focus on community involvement.
Your Responsibilities
The Programme Supervisor will support the Community Services Manager to effectively run the Park House Day Centre.
Duties include but are not limited to effective supervision and coordination of the team of programme facilitators and care workers; ensuring a high quality of health and safety management in line with Rehab Care policy; ensuring effective support planning and person centred planning in line with New Directions policy; supporting the manager with talent acquisition and service user referrals; engaging with all key internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
A Third level graduate, health and social care equivalent MAPA, Autism Awareness Training, Occupational First Aid, Manual Handling in a relevant field (desirable)
Experience of working with individuals with mental health, physical, sensory & ID disability.
Experience in the provision of community and service based programmes and activities to promote independence and meet the needs, choices and abilities of clients.
