PROBYS Kitchen is a chic eatery located near Cork's St. Finbarr's Cathedral, offering an eclectic menu that caters to those who share our passion for the diverse flavours and ingredients of the world.
Opening Hours:
Breakfast: Daily from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Lunch: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Weekend brunch/lunch from 12:00 PM onwards
Dinner: Thursday to Saturday, starting at 5:00 PM
The menu features a healthy choice of vegetarian & vegan dishes highlighted with free range chicken as well as local cuts of beef and pork.
The team behind PROBYS includes Pat, the head chef who was previously a teacher at Ballymaloe Cookery School, along with Marianne & Denis who run Cafe Gusto and Liberty Grill. They all share a belief in cooking from scratch with seasonal sustainable ingredients.
The successful candidate will assist the Chef patron in the effective daily operations of the kitchen, managing and developing the team, fostering relationships with suppliers, and planning the menu.
We will consider all grades of chefs with a minimum of two years experience; however, we would consider a higher salary rate for more senior chefs.
The successful candidate will have:
1. A minimum of two years’ experience in a busy hospitality environment
2. Excellent customer service outlook
3. Proficiency in English
4. Full eligibility to work in Ireland as per current Irish Immigration Law. The company isn't offering visa/sponsorship or relocation packages for the role.
5. Full flexibility for weekdays, weekends, morning, and evening shifts
