Purpose
This role will support our growing PLC business in Ireland and abroad, with key interactions across all areas of our business. Our legal team is growing and looking to bring on someone who thrives in an in-house environment who can work closely with our business leaders on their legal priorities.
The role will be reporting into the General Counsel & Company Secretary, working closely with the Leadership Team and Senior Leadership teams across Uniphar Group.

Key Responsibilities
1. Managing various legal projects to completion in an efficient and effective manner and liaising with internal stakeholders in the business for input and support in such projects.
2. Advising on and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and supporting the development and implementation of legal templates.
3. Driving execution of these agreements in an efficient manner, partnering with internal stakeholders for input and support in such projects.
4. Identifying inefficiencies in day-to-day operations and delivering on recommendations for process improvements.
5. Assisting with the execution of corporate M&A, including liaising with external advisors, input on transaction documents, reviewing due diligence outputs, legal project management and ancillary workstreams.
6. Advising internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal, corporate and compliance issues, disputes and any other legal matters that arise in the day-to-day operation of the business.
7. Assisting with the roll-out of a Group-wide contract management system to streamline the contracting process across the Group.
8. Managing and prioritizing workload in relation to timelines and stakeholder requirements.
9. Engaging and liaising with external counsel (managing and minimizing costs to the extent possible).
10. Undertaking other reasonably related duties (including administrative tasks).
Skills And Competencies
1. Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in private practice or in-house
2. Experience negotiating commercial contracts

7. Ability to take ownership of various assignments with limited supervision
