About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Turner and Fitter, with expertise in laser alignment and metal fabrication, to join our fast-paced engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out work on customer equipment on-site.
* Setting a good example for apprentices and offering advice, guidance, and assistance when necessary.
* Ensuring the company's success in gaining and maintaining Investors in People, ISO, and 14001 accreditations.
* Maintaining personal responsibility for Health and Safety in the workplace.
Requirements:
* Time-served or qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
* Experience/qualified in calibrated measuring equipment usage.
* Previous experience in welding or being qualified.
* Knowledge of mechanical drive assemblies, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, mechanical design principles, and techniques is advantageous.
Work Environment:
Flexible to work outside normal hours if required and willing to travel to client locations.
