Job Description
The successful candidate will provide process chemistry support for existing and new processes, acquiring and maintaining a detailed knowledge and understanding of the relevant processes' chemistry.
This includes mechanisms, development history, boundary conditions, impurity formation, and control.
Responsibilities:
* Support laboratory troubleshooting and investigative activities.
* Complete laboratory development projects on schedule.
* Contribute to initiatives to improve process understanding, control, capability, adaptability, yield, and throughput.
* Lead/participate in thorough technical risk assessments for plant changes/product introduction.
* Provide technical support for Capital engineering projects.
* Prepare technical documentation.
* Train Operations team personnel as necessary.
* Manage and seek approval for all technical changes.
* Carry out investigations of quality and yield issues.
* Liaise with customers and procurement to support cost reduction and security of supply projects.
* Actively participate or lead Technology Transfer from clients/other sites.
* Provide chemistry feedback to customers.
* Provide technical input to client regulatory submissions.
* Ensure Product Quality Lifecycle Management is in place.
* Prepare tax credit assessments.
* Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave according to site SOPs, EHS standards, and guidelines.

* Perform safety assessments on new material/processes introduced to site.
* Maintain GMP standards where appropriate to role.
