Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Switchboard Operator to join our Reservations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Answering all phone calls in a polite and timely manner, adhering to all standards outlined during training.
* Dealing with guests and members' requests in a timely manner, following all standards outlined during training.
* Keeping up-to-date with all information regarding services and facilities available to guests, including prices and opening hours.
* Keeping up-to-date on all promotions and special offers available to guests and members across the resort.
* Being responsible for all calls received, both internal and external, in a professional and timely manner.
* Passing messages to guests and managers in a professional and timely manner.
* Announcing all calls to guests and management when requested.
* Ensuring all guests and members' messages are dealt with in a correct and timely manner.
* Being fully conversant with the daily arrivals and departure listings.
* Working in an organized and efficient manner at all times.
* Ensuring all relevant information regarding guests is passed on to reception or Manager.
* Assisting Reservations and Front Office with arrival letters and confirmations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a hospitality or retail setting.
* Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
* Fluency in English, both oral and written.
* The ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
