About the Role
This role involves working within a collaborative team environment, leading projects, and engaging with clients. We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Athlone office.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the design team in delivering projects across commercial, civic and cultural, educational, and healthcare sectors.
* Develop project scope with the design team and clients, including budgeting and reporting.
* Support team leads in resource management and planning to ensure successful project delivery.
* Provide detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on-site until project completion.
* Take an active role in project delivery from concept to completion.
* Presentation and communication of ideas with clients, architects, and project managers.
* Coordination with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
* Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.
* Participation in team meetings and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience within an engineering practice.
* Proven experience in project delivery from concept stage to completion.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech; proficiency in REVIT is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
