STEM Recruitment Partners is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a Tier 1 client, to assist in developing design delivery schedules and collaborate with clients, project managers, design teams, and consultants.
* This role can be based out of the company's HQ in Kildare or Frankfurt, Germany. It may require some travel to the client in Germany.
* 6-month contract initially, with if successful, an extension for a further 2 years.

Job Responsibilities
* Develop Design Delivery Schedules with clients, project managers, and design teams.
* Attend design meetings for input to optimize design and minimize unnecessary work.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and architects.
* Review completed designs for accuracy.
* Manage project design registers: procurement schedule, technical submittals, drawing register, RFI log, deviation tracker, lessons learned log, issues log, interface/scope tracker, and design change control tracker.
* Maintain Document Deliverable Register and produce cable schedules.
* Size cables from load lists and design primary/secondary containment.
* Specify equipment based on client requirements and submit technical approvals for procurement/installation.
* Develop scope-of-work and contract deliverables.
* Review orders for technical accuracy and pricing.
* Track design deliverables to meet project milestones and participate in strategic planning.
* Collaborate on design issues/changes and manage document control.
* Engage with Offsite Site Assembly (OSA) and Offsite Site Manufacturing (OSM) to align engineering requirements.
* Produce drawings and schematics, working with the BIM team.
* Address BIM queries promptly and ensure final handover requirements are met throughout the engineering process.
* Emphasize safety requirements to engineering and site teams.
* Perform other engineering-related tasks as requested.
Job Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Design Engineering.
* 4+ years experience with BIM 360 & EIDA; process plant experience (Pharma preferred).
* Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality; proficiency in English (German desirable but not essential).
