Duty Manager - Food and Beverage Operations
We are currently recruiting an experienced Duty Manager mainly responsible for Food and Beverage Operations to join a 4* Hotel in Co Carlow. The role will require the effective and efficient management of all Restaurant, Bar, and Events business and coordinating all day-to-day activities in the Hotel during your shift.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily operations and coordinate all areas of the hotel.
2. Lead and guide the team as required during service/shift.
3. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail.
4. Observe all shift and opening/closing procedures.
5. Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience in managing busy Food and Beverage operations, Outlets, and Room service.
2. Experience managing small Weddings, Conferences, and meetings.
3. Front office training is needed, ability to coordinate check-in/out and assist in this area.
4. Must display effective leadership and team management abilities.
5. Reliable, committed, motivated, and above all, a professional person.
6. A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, and an approachable style.
7. Duty Management experience in a 4* Hotel in Ireland preferred.
8. Work Permit is not available for this role; full legal status to work in Ireland is required.
