Your Role:
As a Counterparty Management Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients with their counterparty management functions as well as and a suite of other middle and back-office solutions. Your responsibilities will be to:
1. Oversee requests relating to new account initiation, ensuring timely and efficient processing in accordance with prioritization guidelines.
2. Request, collect, and review necessary client documentation from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
3. Accurately upload and maintain documentation in the appropriate management systems, utilizing checklists to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
4. Collaborate with legal and compliance departments to review contractual documents, identify non-standard provisions, and facilitate the amendment process as needed.
5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that accounts are set up correctly and are ready for trading, including verification of credit limits and collateral arrangements.
6. Manage communication channels dedicated to documentation and onboarding inquiries, providing prompt responses and directing queries to the relevant departments.
7. Participate in the continuous improvement of onboarding processes, including the adoption of new procedures to meet regulatory changes and enhance operational efficiency.
8. Conduct regular reviews and updates of client information to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance with legal and company requirements.
9. Support cross-functional teams with documentation-related tasks and contribute to projects that enhance client service and operational effectiveness.
10. Responsibilities may extend beyond those listed, as the position is designed to evolve with the company's needs and the regulatory landscape.
The Ideal Candidate:
11. Possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
12. Holds a Professional Qualification or is actively pursuing one.
13. Brings 2–3 years of experience in performing the aforementioned functions or has previously performed similar roles.
14. Exhibits a proactive problem-solving mindset and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
15. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the buy-side landscape.
16. Is well-versed in counterparty onboarding and lifecycle management.
17. Has a keen familiarity with a variety of trading instruments.
