About the Role:
* As a Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role within the finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager (Accounting & Reporting).
* Your contributions will help ensure the organisation's resources are managed efficiently and transparently, supporting its mission to bring meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and reconcile monthly general ledgers and post routine/non-routine journal entries.
* Manage and report on organisational income and produce monthly finance reports for management.
* Deliver detailed departmental income and expense analysis reports.
* Support internal and external audit processes, including producing year-end financial statements.
* Assist with budgeting, cash flow, and scenario planning while ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
* Champion a robust governance and internal controls environment.
Requirements:
* Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a finance function
* Proficiency in general ledger management and financial reporting
* Advanced IT and MS Office skills
