The Purpose of the Role As a Service Supervisor, you will act as the main point of contact for all matters arising in Operational activities on your Team, as well as all people management activities within your rostered team.

Person Specification Proven leadership skills and experience Physical stamina to work the duration of an 8-hour shift Technical aptitude A strong team player Have excellent organizational and timekeeping skills Ability to adapt to different tasks Ability to lead and motivate a team - act as a leader and mentor Work Schedule 39-hour regular working week (Monday - Friday) start time 7am Principal Duties and Responsibilities Performance Management - acting as first point of contact for all complaints and carrying out grievance and disciplinary procedures as relevant Weekly, Monthly, quarterly one-2-one meetings for overall team Monitor escalations Responsible for coordinating all Service Contracts and to support and act as a single point of contact for our customers Responsibility for contributing to management initiatives, including site safety and protocol and ensuring that the expertise and resources of the organisation are available to support any agreed initiatives Coordinates, participates and reports on meetings between the support teams and customer Set strategy and direction for the operational functions to ensure ongoing value is added across the business Drive business development through quality focus and continuous improvement Resolution of customer issues whilst communicating effectively internally and externally and driving continuous improvement by leading and active participation in system failure investigations and investigation reports, execution/development of change control Provide expert support to Operations in all aspects of operational delivery Manage own Health and Safety, and that of any staff/contractors working under their direction Challenge existing company standards to ensure best in class.
Accountable for the creation of communications and distribution to all employees in conjunction with the Head of Operations and HR Department Softworks System Administration - Responsibility for all timesheet creations, amendments and approvals Absence Management & Approve shift changes, vacation approval and organisation of coverage, absence coverage and overtime needs - reflecting as relevant in Softworks R&R Administration Performance Reviews and Ratings Involved in internal and external recruitment, candidate identification, interviews and offer recommendations Liaising with the HR Department on a regular basis Role Requirements Management qualification desired but not essential Experience in a leadership role within a high-volume manufacturing environment or similar industry Ability to prioritise and maintain oversight across several functional areas Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office - with working knowledge of Excel Working knowledge of Time & Attendance system management and functional use Ability to wear PPE in a Cleanroom environment % compliance with all safety and protocol specs and regulations Physical Requirements Have strong physical stamina to have the ability to stand, stoop, walk and reach for the duration of an 8-hour shift (breaks excluded) Benefits of Working with WGNSTAR Discounted rates of on-site facilities Free on-site car parking Reward & Recognition Programme Employee Assistance Programme Learning and development Opportunities for career progression This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
