People Transformation Project Manager
Your role
We are seeking an experienced and driven People Transformation Project Manager to oversee a variety of projects within the People function. Reporting to the Director of People Transformation, the People Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for driving highest priority Transformation initiatives and projects, and ensuring the function is equipped for the future by championing a culture of continuous improvement.The People team is currently implementing a multi-year transformation programme, encompassing over 30 projects spanning areas such as HR technology, employee benefits and service delivery. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised and flexible, demonstrating a passion for delivering results and collaborating effectively across teams. Plan, coordinate, and execute HR projects ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, scope, and success criteria.Allocate resources efficiently, working with HR and finance to secure necessary funding for new and existing initiatives.Develop and execute project plans, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.Identify and manage risks, proactively resolving issues to ensure smooth project delivery.Lead stakeholder engagement and communication, providing clear status updates and insights.Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to gather input and drive project success.Partner with HR analytics teams to ensure data-driven decision-making is integrated into all project phases.Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of HR projects.Support change management efforts to promote adoption and sustainability of new processes and tools.Analyse project outcomes and champion best practices in project management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the HR team.Actively monitor emerging HR trends and best practices to identify areas for future project opportunities.Provide guidance, tools and support to HR team members, ensuring they are equipped to contribute to project objectives.Step into evolving priorities, offering support in other areas of the HR function where additional resources or leadership are needed.Maintain a strategic outlook across the transformation programme, proactively identifying potential risks, dependencies, and opportunities that may impact agreed goals, and advocate for necessary adjustments to priorities based on these insights.
Your qualifications and key criteria
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; project management certification is a plus.3 + years of proven experience leading complex projects, ideally within HR or transformation programmes. Previous experience in HR and/or in HRIS implementation is a plus.Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders.A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Flexibility and adaptability to pivot as organisational priorities evolve.Ability to leverage data to create actionable insights and compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with change management principles and experience driving organisational change.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Eligible to live and work in the EU.Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.Able to provide 2 verifiable references.Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in Dublin).Closing Date: 12th March 2025.At Aer Lingus, we embrace diversity and believe in providing equal opportunities to all qualified individuals.
