HR Manager
Join our organisation as we embark on a new growth journey in West Cork. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and implement the people strategy for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Main point of contact for all employees, providing excellent HR support
* Recommend and implement new HR policies and initiatives with an employee-centred mindset, ensuring high leadership engagement and compliance with changing legislation and best practice
* Develop strong business partnering relationships with managers and ensure consistent decision-making processes within the HR framework
* Coach managers on employee situations and best HR practices
* Manage accurate recording of all employees on sick leave and long-term medical leave, including employee records while on leave
* Investigate employee relations processes within company policy guidelines
* Refer employees to occupational health when necessary
* Manage and monitor employee working hours, sending weekly reports to the management team
* Partner with payroll to ensure accuracy of employee information
* Liaise with colleges/universities to arrange student internships
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field (essential)
* Minimum 5 years of HR experience
* Deep understanding of labor law and employment regulations
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with all levels of employees and managers
* Highly organised with ability to prioritise effectively and strong follow-through
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable managing grey areas, with excellent negotiation and conflict management skills
* Strong attention to detail and understanding of the need for accuracy
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity
