Qualifications:
1. Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including object-oriented principles and design patterns.
2. Experience building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot framework.
3. Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing frameworks for Java microservices.
4. Understanding of microservices principles, design patterns, and best practices.
5. Ability to create and manage Docker containers, Dockerfiles, and Docker Compose.
6. Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
8. Knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, deployments, services, and configuration management.
9. Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
10. Git expertise for code version control and collaboration on GitHub.
11. Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging practices for distributed systems.
12. Ability to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
2. Develop and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
5. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
6. Deploy and manage microservices on Azure cloud platforms, such as Azure Container Apps.
7. Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex microservices environments.
8. Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
9. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
